Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my battles, success and adventures with Stage IV Lung Cancer.  I hope you have a blessed day!

The dermotologist was familiar with the Tarceva rash and he recommended that I stop using the hydrocortisone 2.5% Topical cream and he prescribed doxycycline (VIBRAMYCIN) 100 mg Oral tablet and clindamycin (CLEOCIN-T) 1 % topical lotion applied daily. He feels that this will help to reduce the rash and also to use a good bacterial soap to help with the cleansing of the skin. I decided to purchase Dr Bronners liquid soap. The orange bottle has a very strong smell and I feel like I am bathing with a floor cleaner, but the blue bottle has a strong peppermint smell to it. I use the blue for my face and orange for my body. They both have different ingredients but I like the fact that it has hemp oil and tea tree oil. These are supposed to be good for cancer. I found these in the beauty section at Target stores but I believe you can order online and Meijer stores have them as well.
